MEET OWEN
Owen Fletcher is a father, husband, and public servant.
He has dedicated his career to helping elected officials create laws, deliver funding, and improve lives.
A decade ago, Owen moved to Cape Cod to provide his children with a better life. He has worked to improve our community as an aide to a state representative, executive staff member for the Barnstable County Commissioners, and Clerk of the Assembly of Delegates – our county’s legislature.
Owen studied government at Harvard University, earning his bachelor’s degree, before graduating from Rutgers Law School. Prior to moving to the Cape, Owen helped craft statewide housing laws as an attorney and researcher for state legislative leaders. He also served as a housing authority commissioner, chairing the board as it acquired, developed, and revitalized needed residential units.
Owen grew up in a family of artists, teachers, and civil servants. He believes we can inspire with creativity, empower through education, and transform through service.
Owen lives in Barnstable with his wife and sons.
