Are you in the 5 th Barnstable District?

The 5th Barnstable District consists of Sandwich along with parts of Barnstable and Bourne.

Barnstable Precincts 10, 11, and 12 are part of the district. Bourne Precincts 1, 2, 3, 5A, and 7 are too. Governments divide towns into areas called precincts for elections.

Our district is one of 160 in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Each district elects one state representative.

The House, together with the Massachusetts State Senate, make up the Commonwealth’s legislature.
